Staying Safe

The following tips will allow you to keep yourself and your car safe.

1. When driving alone, always lock your doors.
2. Never leave your handbag on the passenger seat in full view; it's too easy for someone to snatch it at traffic lights.
3. Always carry a mobile phone with you.
4. Always let people know where you're going and when you expect to get there.
5. Never pick up hitch hikers.
6. Always park in well lit car parks.
7. Never EVER leave your car unlocked and running when you're away from it.
8. If you don't have an alarm/immobiliser fitted get one. Many car insurance schemes offer discounts for these items.
9. Always hide your car keys in your house. Thieves are stealing car keys now that security systems are so good.
10. Always be aware of what's going on around you.

By following these simple tips, you can keep yourself and others safe, happy motoring.

If you don't use the roads much, should you pay as much as the people who do?

Yes. I don't use the roads much so shouldn't pay the same as everyone else.
No. People who drive for a living would be far worse off.
