Women getting over-charged at the garage

A recent study by 'What car?' magazine revealed that women are being charged up to £500 more that their man counter parts when shopping for the same car.

This study is sure to bring up the subject of sexism within the Motor industry.

'What car?' magazine sent out undercover shoppers to 45 dealerships all over the UK , to observer how car dealers conducted themselves when dealing with different genders.

The study showed that the problem was not just in one area of the UK , but it was concluded that the problems was an issue right through the UK .

Similar studies carried found that 70% of women do not feel like they are being seriously when they are dealing with salesmen and trust the guidance they are given.

It is always better to shop around and get the advice of somebody you trust before going to showrooms, this will give you better bargaining power and if you are being feed rubbish you will see it coming.

What we have to remember ladies, it that no salesmen is your friend, no matter how nice they seem. They are just like everyone else trying to make a living.
