Third Party Car Insurance
Third party car insurance is the bare minimum of car insurance that can be taken out to protect innocent bystanders so they do not lose out financially should you injure them.
Some car insurance companies are no longer willing to offer this level of insurance as Third Party, Fire & Theft cover can be bought for the same if not less. This level of insurance for women is not recommended as it only covers other people, not the policy holder.
We don't recommend that you take out this level of cover as you and your property are not covered. If your car gets stolen, you get nothing at all. You'll probably find that TPFT is cheaper anyway.
The most important rule for choosing car insurance is always to make sure that you're covered for the most common incidents. Should you want any advice on choosing the right level of car insurance, please call us and we will be happy to advise you.
It is also important to make sure that you know what is included in this level of insurance. Make sure that you have all the options you need, is legal cover included? What's the excess? etc. These are all very good questions to ask to ensure that you get the policy that is going to be right for you.
